Have a pet portrait created

An animal portrait is a beautiful and personal way to immortalize your beloved pet. People who want to have an animal portrait created often wonder how the process exactly works. Below, I explain the process to you step by step.
The first and perhaps most important step in having an animal portrait made is choosing a good reference picture. Together, we’ll look at which photo best suits your wishes. It is important that the photo is of high quality.
When you send me an email with your favorite photo(s), we can discuss the size of the animal portrait, the most suitable material or medium, and whether I can create the portrait for you.
Once it is your turn, I will contact you to confirm that the chosen photo and composition are still to your liking. I will then ask you to make a 50% deposit. As soon as this has been received, I will start creating the animal portrait.
During the drawing process, I regularly post progress photos of my animal portraits on Instagram. If you would prefer not to — for example, because the portrait is a gift — I would be happy to send you the updates via email.
Once the animal portrait is finished and you are satisfied with the result, I would appreciate receiving the remaining balance. As soon as the last payment has been made, I will carefully package and send your unique pet portrait to you.

“Sue did an amazing drawing of my cat Lilev. She has such a great eye for detail. The drawing looked exactly like the reference photo. I’m also very impressed with her shading skills; this gave the drawing so much depth. I highly recommend taking a look at her work and comission a drawing by Sue.”
