The Reference Picture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create a realistic-looking portrait, a good reference photo is essential. The better the photo, the better the final result will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So take the time to snap a great photo of your pet\u2014one that is high-quality and truly captures their personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tips for taking a good reference picture:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Take the photo in daylight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Make sure the colors of the fur and eyes match your pet's actual appearance as closely as possible (which is why daylight is so important).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Make sure at least the snout is sharply focused, so I can clearly draw all the details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Take the photo from up close, without zooming in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A photo size of at least 1920 x 1080 pixels is ideal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    If you do not have a suitable photo and cannot take one\u2014for example, because your pet has passed away\u2014we can look into whether it is possible to create a good likeness using multiple photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Below you will find some examples of good reference photos. In general, photos taken by professional photographers are always suitable as references.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
